We've all been touched by breast cancer in many ways. My first experience was my mother's diagnosis while I was in college, then again with her in 2000 when it came back. For eight years, she went in and out of remission. Then she lost her battle. Click here to read her story.

In 2012, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and then the work I had done with Williamson Medical Center and The Pink Gala became even more important and meaningful to me. I am now even more determined to help improve the lives of women impacted by breast cancer in our community.

Gala Girls 2016

The Pink Gala is a celebration of my mother's life and inspirational battle. She was an exceptional example of how to handle a scary diagnosis and even scarier surgery and chemo treatment. I am so thankful to be on the other side and grateful for the wonderful treatment. I am so thankful to be on the other side of my cancer diagnosis and extrememly grateful for the treatment and care I received from the Breast Health Center at Williamson Medical Center.

A special thanks to my 2017 Gala Girls!  Pam Burnett, Christina Cunningham, Karen Clark, Amy Farrow, Kim Bozeman, Jessica Sheridan, Kim Stanke and Lucretia Presley.
